Richard Acosta is the first accepted student at Texas A&M University-San Antonio

Today, A&M-SA went to Harlandale High School to commemorate the first student of the first freshman class, Richard Acosta. Richard will be the first of his family to attend college. Dr. Melissa Mahan, Vice President for Student Affairs and University faculty and staff were present to provide Richard and his family a note from President Matson, Jag Swag, and his letter of acceptance.
