Early Release on December 22, 2017

Dear Members of the A&M-San Antonio Community:

In appreciation of your hard work and dedication to Texas A&M University-San Antonio this past year, I have approved early release of employees totaling four hours (1-5 p.m.) on Friday, December 22, 2017, for the holiday break. The University, therefore, will be closed for the holidays beginning at 1 p.m., December 22, through January 1, 2018. We will reopen at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

In addition to the early release, I have approved up to four hours of leave requested by benefits-eligible employees in LeaveTraq be credited back to the employees leave balances based on A&M-San Antonio Procedure 31.02.02.00.01, Leave of Absence with Pay.

Please be aware each campus within the A&M System sets their holiday schedule. Our holiday schedule, during which the campus is closed, was set in collaboration with Faculty Senate and Staff Council during spring 2017. To view the holiday schedule click here.
