Staff Recognition Committee hosts amazing Employee Development Day!

On Tuesday, June 19, faculty and staff participated in the inaugural annual Employee Development Day. The event, which ran from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., kicked off with an inspiring keynote address by Bob Beaudine, president and CEO of Eastman & Beaudine, one of the nation's leading executive search firms in professional and college sports and entertainment. Attendees then participated in a table-top exercise designed to define and enhance teamwork.

Following lunch, participants attended professional development sessions covering a range of topics -- from effective communication and managing income and debt, to safety protocol for active shooter scenarios and business etiquette and professionalism. The day ended on a lighter notes with fun-filled activities, including card reading, stickit archery and hoverball.
