South Texas VA to hold vaccination clinic at A&M-San Antonio Feb. 27

Event strives to help south-side San Antonio Veterans

San Antonio – the South Texas Veterans Health Care System has partnered with Texas A&M University-San Antonio to hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 on the Texas A&M University-San Antonio campus.

The event will be held in the Patriots’ Casa, located on the east side of the campus.

This clinic will focus only on providing Veterans their first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Veterans in priority groups as determined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be reached out to by VA representatives for the scheduling of their appointments for the clinic.

The event intends to help reach approximately 500 Veterans who reside in south San Antonio and have difficulties reaching other vaccination sites.
