The University experienced a 36% increase in giving from last year
SAN ANTONIO — Texas A&M University-San Antonio is thrilled to announce the success of its recent fundraising efforts. Over the past two years, A&M-San Antonio has experienced an extraordinary surge in philanthropy, with annual giving reaching a record-breaking total of $6,615,797 for fiscal year 2023.
"The generosity of our community and the dedication of our donors are propelling A&M-San Antonio to new heights,” said Vice President for University Relations and Advancement Jesse Pisors. “These funds will enable us to continue enhancing educational programs, providing scholarships and creating an environment where students thrive.”
Key Highlights of A&M-San Antonio's Philanthropic Achievements:
- Total Giving: The University achieved its second-largest year for philanthropy, totaling $6,615,797. This substantial support reflects the community's dedication to fostering academic excellence and empowering the next generation of leaders.
- Increase in Giving: A&M-San Antonio experienced a 36% increasein giving from 2022 to 2023, showcasing the growing momentum of support for the University's mission and initiatives.
- Generous Major Gifts: The University received 17 gifts of at least $100,000, more than double the number recorded in the previous highest year for this gift category. These transformative gifts will significantly impact A&M-San Antonio's ability to innovate and provide unparalleled educational experiences.
- Donor Engagement: A&M University-San Antonio is proud to celebrate the highest number of donors in a single year, with 439 individualscontributing to the University's success. This record-breaking engagement highlights the strong connection between the University and its community.
- Foundations' Support: The philanthropic landscape for A&M-San Antonio expanded with the support of 26 foundations, underscoring the broader community's recognition of the university's impact on education and community development.
