Kappa Delta Pi

Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education, is dedicated to scholarship and excellence in education. Originally founded in 1911, the organization now has over 45,000 members in numerous countries around the world and is able to offer resources, training, and networking opportunities.

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is proud to host the Alpha Delta Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi for undergraduate and graduate students in education, counseling, and educational administration. Our members participate in service projects that benefit Literacy Alive! in local schools and children's homes, which are funded by our biannual Scholastic Book Fairs. Additionally, our chapter has contributed hundreds of books to the children's section of the TAMU-SA library.

Eligible students are invited to join KDP at the beginning of each semester. To qualify for membership, students must maintain the required GPA of 3.25 for undergraduates and 3.5 for graduate students.
