The Kinesiology Club |
The Kinesiology Club at Texas A&M University-San Antonio is a student-run organization that provides volunteer, internship, and mentorship opportunities. The club is a social club for members to share their passion and expertise with others and to learn from each other. TACSM 2023 |
On February 23-24, 2022, Dr. John Smith took 18 Kinesiology students to the Texas Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine’s (TACSM) annual meeting hosted by Stephen F. Austin in Waco, TX. TAHPERD 2022

Students and faculty in the Health & Kinesiology Program attended the 2022 Texas Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Annual Convention in Corpus Christi. Three faculty and 13 students attended sessions that focused on development of knowledge and programs to promote active and healthy lifestyles as well as enhance skills and aesthetic motor performance in children. |

Heavy Metal |
Tim Ingram graduated with a degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) in 2012. Tim was TAMU-SA's Kinesiology major of the year at the 2011 TACSM Annual Meeting. After graduating, Tim worked as a personal trainer but then decided to pursue his dream of owning his own training center. In April of 2014, he opened up Heavy Metal Fitness on 11950 Starcrest Dr, Suite 203. Click here to read more about the facility and what he has to offer. |
