Ring Days

Ring Recipients will be guided by their Ring Leader through an individualized experience, after checking in at a time of their choice to receive their University Ring in the Auditorium.

Our University Rings will start their journey by receiving the spirit of the Jaguar in the dome overnight and the ring boxes are honored by the Jaguars at the San Antonio Zoo! Ring Recipients will first join their family members for a welcome video before taking part in the University Ring Tradition at the President’s Seal. A chosen family member will be selected to place the university ring on the ring recipient's finger for the first time while standing on the President’s Seal. A professional photographer will take free pictures to remember the moment.

The Ring Recipients and their guests will be escorted through campus to 8 additional photo moments including the tradition of placing a penny at the Madla Statue and showing off their ring with our brand new ring monument. Finally, Ring Recipients will be greeted by Herff Jones and fellow Alumni to conclude the event with a commemorative ring cookie - made by an A&M-SA Alum! Ring Recipients have the ability to invite an unlimited group of family members to join in the celebration!

We recommend bringing cash to support the student organizations that are fundraising that day. Have your cameras and tissues ready - it's going to be a day to remember for the rest of your life.
