depicted his book and exhibition,
“Vaqueros de la Cruz del Diablo”
and featured in the 2021 – ’22 exhibit of
the same name at the Briscoe Western
Art Museum.

This abuelo, grandfather, was one of
dozens of male and female vaqueros of all
ages beautifully shown in settings at their
ranches in the northern Mexico state
of Sinaloa.
