I Met Mila one winter day at
La Boulangerie, a French Bakery
in downtown San Antonio.

Her strikingly bright clothes
and ice blue eyes were captivating,
so I asked if I could take her picture
for a painting, and she graciously obliged.

painting hangs in her home
in Finland.
