Rocio Acosta Heller is largely responsible
for this series of portraits to be brought to
Texas A&M and exhibited here.

When she learned that I was having a
solo show at the AnArte Gallery on Cinco
de Mayo of 2022, she mentioned it to her
husband Ron.

They graciously attended the show. We
had a great time chatting about art and life

The next day, they made the decision
together to buy all the available paintings.
Having a sold – out show is every artist’s
dream, and thanks to the Heller’s it hap-
pened to me. That experience gave me a
change to paint the regal Rocio Heller.

She’s as close to a queen as you can get.
