Alexander A. Travieso

Alexander A. TraviesoMr. Alexander A. Travieso is a well-rounded business professional with executive leadership experience in running both profit and non-profit organizations. He has extensive corporate managerial experience with SBC/AT&T, a proven fundraising background in academia with Texas State University and executive experience as CEO, with Kids Sports Network.

Mr. Travieso’s broad range of knowledge allows him to successfully interface and positively influence large and small scale clients, operations teams, and various stakeholders to achieve his organization’s yearly objectives. He has lived in San Antonio, Houston, El Paso and St. Louis, Missouri. Travieso easily adapts to different external audiences in building relationships and achieving results.

Travieso’s business professional journey includes over thirty-five years combined tenure at SBC/AT&T, Texas State University, and Kids Sports Network. As CEO of Kids Sports Network (KSN), he performed key activities, in order to maintain a vibrant and forward thinking organization. Mr. Travieso clearly understands the value of teamwork, work ethics, strategic planning, recruiting and fiscal responsibility. His interpersonal skills and sensitivity to others earned Mr. Travieso numerous accolades from senior management at SBC/AT&T.

Additionally, Mr. Travieso has wide-ranging board of director experience having served on several volunteer boards including: Advance, Project SER, United Way, and San Antonio & El Paso Girl Scouts, to highlight a few. He also served on civic boards as president of Shavano Ridge HOA, president of Texas State University, Hispanic Policy Network, president of SBC/AT&T golf association and several others. Mr. Travieso has a BBA degree from Texas State University. 

During his corporate college recruiting assignment with AT&T, for the Leadership Development Program (LDP), he was selected by Texas A&M University in College Station as the “Top Recruiter” of the year. Mr. Travieso is married to Gloria Travieso and he is especially proud that his three daughters graduated from Texas A&M University, Lisa, class of ’99, Gina, ’02, and Amy ’08 and that he is a first time grandpa..
