NSA Cyber Defense Education Certificate

The mission of the CITCS is to support the development of a comprehensive IT and cyber security education and research program that will prepare TAMU-SA students for cyber careers, develop a sustainable middle-school-to-university cyber student pipeline, increase campus and community cyber security awareness, and promote faculty and student research in the fields of IT and cyber security.

Texas A&M-SA NSA/DHS Cyber Defense Education (CDE) Certification requirements for students beginning Fall 2023 catalog and beyond

Beginning Fall 2023 semester, the following 8 courses will be required for the NSA/DHS CDE certificate. This is based on recertification approval beginning Fall 2023 and the approved mapping of the required knowledge units by the NSA/DHS certification authority.
