First-Year Orientation

Congratulations! Now that you have been admitted to Texas A&M University-San Antonio, you are ready to take the next step in your Jaguar Journey by completing New Student Orientation.

Both in-person and virtual orientation options are designed for new students entering the University who have completed an approved high school curriculum. Discover more about NSO, including how to sign-up, below!

New Student Orientation is an exciting experience for any new, incoming student and their families. You'll get to explore campus, learn more about the University, and meet tons of new students just like you. You'll also get to meet faculty in your major and talk with an academic advisor about your first semester of classes!

First-Year students can choose from in-person or virtual options for Fall 2025 starting March 3. Once you are accepted you will be invited via email to confirm your enrollment at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. When you get the email asking you to confirm your enrollment, select YES and you'll be directed to the Enrollment Confirmation page. Complete the form and answer the required questions. Then, you will get to choose a date for New Student Orientation. For Spring 2026 orientation will open October 1.

As you sign-up for New Student Orientation, don't forget to invite your family! Your mom, dad, aunts, uncles, "tios y tias," brothers, sisters, cousins, "primos y primas," and friends can take part in a special orientation just for them! The Jaguar Family Orientation program provides helpful resources and tools to help your family and friends assist you in your new Jaguar Journey!
