ECAC to open exhibit, calls for artwork submissions

We are excited to announce that the Texas A&M University-San Antonio Educational & Cultural Arts Center is planning its first exhibit of artwork as part of its mission to tell the story of the Latino experience in America and South Texas through local and regional art, history and culture, dedicated to discovering and sharing the transnational experience of Latinos in America. The exhibition will open later this spring, and the Center is opening a call for artwork submissions from local artists to be part of the first and future exhibitions.

We invite you to share the following announcement with your art community as we celebrate local artists and the cultures of San Antonio:

“Are you a Latino artist, or do you feel that Latino arts and cultures have influenced your artistic work? The Texas A&M-San Antonio Educational & Cultural Arts Center invites you to submit your work for consideration in the first exhibition to be held at this iconic downtown space.
