A&M-San Antonio to assist with San Antonio Food Bank's Hurricane Harvey Emergency Response

Dear University Community:

The Mays Center for Experiential Learning and Community Engagement, Staff Council and other University offices and community members are supporting efforts to lend assistance to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. We need your support!

We are requesting food and monetary donations and volunteers for the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB), who are supporting local and statewide Hurricane response needs. SAFB is requesting nonperishable food, water, baby food, diapers, flashlights and batteries, new or packaged clothing, hygiene products and cleaning supplies.

Donations are accepted in any of the Staff Council donation bins located throughout campus. Monetary donations and volunteer registration can be done online. Donation bins will also be visible during the President's Picnic today from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. on the West Lawn.

Staff Council is working with the other Texas A&M University System schools that were impacted by this natural disaster. We will update the campus on how we may lend additional support to those campuses.

For questions about donations, please send an email to experience@tamusa.edu .
