Media Alert: Learn the Mystery of Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s History when Officials Unveil the Timeline Wall

WHAT:Continuing the celebration of Texas A&M University-San Antonio’s (A&M-SA) 10-Year Anniversary, the story of its creation and journey to a comprehensive four institution will be on display when the University’s “Timeline Wall” is unveiled. The year 2019 marks an important milestone for A&M-SA — its 10-Year Anniversary of dedication and service to the community and students of San Antonio’s South Side and commitment to higher education excellence in the greater southern region of Texas. A&M-SA will continue to celebrate other 10-Year Anniversary activities throughout the year.
WHO:Participants in the “timeline unveiling” include:
  *Frank Madla, III (son of the late Sen. Frank Madla, Jr.)
  *Maria Hernandez Ferrier, A&M-SA’s first president
  *Cresencio Davila, MBA, A&M-SA’s first Student Gov. Assoc. president
  *Cynthia Teniente-Matson, A&M-SA president
