Not only was Assistant Professor Lawrence Scott, Ph.D. selected as one of San Antonio Business Journal's (SABJ) 2018 "40 Under 40," he was also named as the 2018 "40 Under 40 Man of the Year." The surprise was unveiled at a SABJ dinner honoring the 40 recipients on February 22. Dr. Scott was recognized for his educational leadership and for his philanthropic efforts with Community for Life, a nonprofit organization focused on raising money for college scholarships.
