ABOUT B.E.S.O

Come join the Bilingual Education Student Organization (BESO) at Texas A&M University-San Antonio! BESO’s overarching mission focuses on developing awareness, advocacy, and leadership to promote multilingualism and multiculturalism in our university community.  BESO supports our members’ by providing academic success and fellowship through its activities, events, and future scholarships.  The organization consistently engages our members through our university and professional initiatives to support fellow students, faculty, staff, and our San Antonio community. 

How to join?

Our membership reflects the multilingualism and multiculturalism of South Texas and provides professional opportunities for students who are interested in becoming culturally responsive leaders and bilingual educators to serve our city, state, and nation. Membership is open to all students, faculty, and other staff of the Texas A&M University-San Antonio campus. Please go to BESO - JagSyncto join the organization.
