Discover the Human Services DIFFERENCE.

An Open Letter to Visitors:

Hola, Hello, and Welcome to the Human Services Program!

The TAMUSA Human Services Program faculty bring a wide assortment of professional experiences to engage students in learning and growth. We pride ourselves in having faculty who graduated from this very campus, and know what it means to be a Jaguar through and through. We also have faculty with backgrounds in community mental health media production, including documentaries and podcasts, as well as academic advising. This rich tapestry of knowledge benefits students academically and professionally, and our care goes beyond the classroom as we mentor students through Field Internship opportunities.

But beyond all of that, our faculty are compassionate and committed to the succcess of our students. In this program, you are a whole person who belongs. That is the Human Services DIFFERENCE.

Sincerely,

Gillian Rodriguez, MA, LPC

In the Community

Our faculty make a difference

Our instructors understand the importance of community service. They serve those around them in most need, and create greater awareness through engagement. This professional advocacy experience is then shared with students, who are encouraged and mentored in the art of caring and service to others.
