Association for Computing and Machinery(ACM)
The educational and scientific purposes of this organization is to promote an increased knowledge of and greater interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management and applications of modern computing, greater interest in computing and its applications, and a means of communication between persons having an interest in computing. The Chapter will serve students atTexas A&M University-San Antonioand other interested persons in the community. The Chapter is chartered by the ACM.
Women in Cyber Security(WiCyS)
Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) is a safe academic space and premier organization with international reach dedicated to bringing together women in Cybersecurity from academia, research, and industry to share knowledge, experience, networking, and mentoring.We welcome ALL Cybersecurity majors to join no matter what gender you identify.This chapter is for Texas A&M University-San Antonio students and Alumni.
National Cyber Security Students Association (NCSA)
National Cybersecurity Student Association Texas A&M University-San Antonio student chapter is dedicated to creating an environment where students who are interested in cybersecurity can share their knowledge, learn and self-organize in teams that will take part in cyber competitions or work on IT related projects. To create this environment the organization will share education resources and career opportunities, host workshops and invite speakers from the industry to share their work experience.
AFCEA Student Chapter
The Mission of the AFCEA is to connect people, ideas, and solutions globally. This chapter does that by developing networking and educational opportunities and providing them in an ethical forum. This enables the military, government, industry, and academia to align technology and strategy to meet the needs of those who serve. The AFCEA Chapter provides academic and networking opportunities, leadership, and professional experience.
