Why do you love working with students?
I have a passion for helping students discover and achieve their higher education goals. Being able to share my academic story and advice I have learned along the way from mentors, has allowed me to serve students and their families as they navigate the college and scholarship application process. As a College Access Advisor, I get the opportunity to not only learn from my students and their families but the communities they live in. Being able to see a student achieve their goals makes it all worth it!
Fun Fact:
I am currently attending Texas A&M University-San Antonio (Go Jaguars!) and working to get Masters in Business Administration. I also enjoy staying active and playing flag football!

Why do you love working with students?
I love working with students because I find joy in watching students grow. It’s exciting to meet all sorts of different personalities, from different backgrounds, and with different aspirations! I am always thrilled to see how much students accomplish with just the right kind of resources and support.
Fun Fact:
I own a “chubby bunny” named Bonnie! She is a Californian rabbit who loves to pester me for attention, snacks, and a clean litter box.

Why do you love working with students?
I find working with students is very rewarding. It is awesome bridging the gap to the unknown. As a first-generation achiever, I understand the barriers faced by first-generation students and know the anxiety personally. I enjoy guiding students down their chosen path. I strive to help students build confidence and a strong internal compass they can rely on for their personal and professional well-being. I also hope to instill a passion in them to build others in their future.
Fun Fact:
I have 7 screws, 1 pin/1 plate in my right ankle. I wish I had an action-packed story to go with it, but I don’t. I achieved this by doing the simple task of walking! I have driven cross country twice and I am a photography nerd. My mantra is no regrets!
