Center for Academic Innovation

The Center for Academic Innovation under the Office of the Associate Vice Provost is committed to the advancement of teaching and learning at A&M-SA. Through partnering and collaborating with Faculty, Staff and Students, the center will serve as an ongoing catalyst for the growth of a university culture that values, supports, and rewards effective student-centered teaching and advances in scholarly activities related to teaching, learning and technology integration.

We are also dedicated to advancing all aspects of the effective use of technology in teaching and learning.  We collaborate with Faculty, Staff and Students to proactively identify, design and develop meaningful solutions to enrich instruction and learning through the use of technology. 

In addition to offering professional development training opportunities, we offer a variety of services including assistance with course design, Blackboard Learn 9.1 LMS (Learning Management System) technical issues and other academic technologies including Adobe Connect & Respondus.
