Keep Teaching Remotely

In this time, we are confident that we can provide great value to students as we continue to work through the impact that COVID-19 has had on our ability to provide face-to-face instruction in the classroom on campus.

We commend faculty on the adaptability, flexibility, and willingness that has been demonstrated in your commitment to keep teaching remotely.  As we prepare for the semester to draw to a close and prepare for summer classes to begin, the Center for Academic Innovation as created this space to assist you as a resource as you provide Emergency Remote Teaching.

Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT) is the term of reference as we continue to teach remotely, in efforts to differentiate it from online learning.  ERT is reference as “a temporary shift of instructional delivery to an alternate delivery mode due to crisis circumstance” (Hodges, Moore, Lockee, Trust, & Bond, 2020).
