Jenny Moore is the founding director of Jaguar Media and Clinical Professor of Communication. She has 20 years’ experience in media instruction, experiential learning and career preparation for underserved college students. Prior to teaching, she worked for magazines and a journalist-in-residence in the San Antonio public school system. Her goal is to advance students’ Communication careers by providing them outstanding experiential learning opportunities in college media and business administration. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Oregon School of Journalism & Communication. She is a distance swimmer and member of U.S. Master’s Swimming group in San Antonio.

Teresa Talerico serves as the faculty adviser to the student-run news site, The Mesquite. A journalist for 22 years and an educator since 2014, Teresa  Talerico has reported for the Waco Tribune-Herald, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, San Antonio Light, Houston Business Journal, Virginian-Pilot, Hispanic Business magazine and other publications. She earned state and national awards in Norfolk for her coverage of small businesses at Inside Business (The Hampton Roads Business Journal). She holds a master's degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She and her husband enjoy hiking, swing dancing, visiting Texas swimming holes and hanging out with their dog and two cats.

Pazdera serves as the faculty adviser to the student-run magazine, El Espejo. Previously, she taught and advised the award-winning student magazine at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Before she began her teaching career, Pazdera was a reporter at several newspapers, including The South Florida Sun-Sentinel. She holds a master's in documentary film at The University of Florida. She is an ultra-marathoner and enjoys spending time in San Antonio’s great outdoors.
