What Is SALUTE?
SALUTE is a national academic honors society for veterans and active duty members. We strive to encourage students to continuously improve their GPAs in order to advance through our four tier system through their academic career.
What Do Members Gain?
Members gain a lifetime membership (one time $35 fee), a military challenge coin, a certificate, scholarship opportunities, networking opportunities, formal recognition and lastly, graduation regalia.
Who Can Join?
All active duty personnel, members of the national guard and reserves, and veterans are welcome to participate in SALUTE. You must have received an honorable discharge if you are a veteran. A 3.0 GPA is required as a minimum. Members must have completed at least 12 credit hours and be enrolled in TAMUSA for the semester they are applying for.
