Transfer Student Engagement

Transfer Student Mentorship Program (Silver Liners)

Incoming transfer students have the opportunity to be paired with a mentor that can help them navigate their transition onto our campus.  We also host an orientation for the program early on in the semester.  Transfer Tuesdays are held every month where mentors & mentees and other transfer students can come and hang out, eat food, make crafts, and meet other students in the organization.

Program Orientation Dates: Mandatory for all mentors and mentees in the program.  If schedules do not align, the makeup session or a virtual meeting can meet this requirement.  All exceptions made must be approved by the lead mentor: transfer@tamusa.edu

PLEASE NOTE: ALL PROGRAM ORIENTATION OPTIONS ARE NOT IN-PERSON!
