Mandatory Reporting to Title IX Coordinator
Senate Bill 212 amended the Texas Education Code to require an employee of a public or private, or independent higher education who witnesses or receives information regarding incidents of sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence or stalking must report to it to the Title IX Coordinator.
A CSA’s report to the Title IX Coordinator will fulfill Clery Act VAWA statistical reporting requirements for these incidents of crime.
