Future generations of rocket scientists visit A&M-SA
A&M-San Antonio hosted the South Texas Region Science Olympiad for the third year! The regional qualifier, held on Saturday, March 22, offers middle and high school students opportunities to compete in a variety of STEM-based events, turning the university campus into an experiment station for everything from egg drops to rocket launches. The University hosted 10 middle school and 10 high school teams and held a total of 28 events coordinated and planned by A&M-SA biology faculty. The event was co-sponsored by the Biology Club and facilitated by the efforts of student volunteers.
Business professor is in international demand
Dr. Daniel Glaser, associate professor of international business management, has been invited as a plenary session speaker at the International Conference STRATEGICA in Bucharest, Romania on October 2-3, 2014. The conference is organized by the Faculty of Management at National University of Political Studies and Public Administration and the National Bank of Romania.

Our 2014 Fiesta medal has been revealed and they just might be the most popular yet! At a special event on Thursday, March 27, Dr. Ferrier unveiled the new medal design with a little help from the Jaguar and Mr. and Ms. A&M-SA. Inspired by the colors and signs of spring that characterize San Antonio's favorite celebration, A&M-San Antonio's fifth annual medal embodies the true spirit of Fiesta. University medals will be on sale at the Fiesta Store on Broadway beginning Monday, March 31, and at the University Bookstore.
