These degree programs will be now be submitted to the Texas Higher Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission and Colleges (SACSCOC) for additional review. If approved, the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health and Bachelor of Science in Child Development are scheduled for implementation in fall 2017, and the Bachelor of Science in Engineering will be scheduled for implementation in fall 2018.

In addition, Greg Garcia was awarded with a resolution from the Board of Regents for his tenure with the Texas A&M University System.
