Then, you will get to choose a date for New Student Orientation, either online or in person.

6) Complete New Student Orientation Virtually or Attend In-Person NSO

If you opt to complete New Student Orientation online, you will get a link and will be able to complete it within 1-2 hours. If you prefer to do in-person NSO, you'll get to sign-up for a specific day and you'll get to explore campus, learn more about the University and meet tons of new students just like you. Youll also get to meet faculty in your major and talk with an academic advisor about your first semester of classes!

7) Submit Your Final Transcripts

Don't forget to submit your final transcripts! You have to submit your college transcripts in order to be admitted, but we also need your final transcripts once you graduate. All students are encouraged to submit their final transcripts during their first semester. Final transcripts must be on file in order for you to register for subsequent semesters.

8) Get Advised and Register for Classes

Meeting with an advisor is highly encouraged. Some transfer students may be required to meet with an advisor before registering for classes. If you attend an in-person NSO, you will get to register for classes during that time.

9) Submit Your Vaccination Records

State law requires new students under the age of 22 to have proof of vaccination for bacterial meningitis. Vaccination records should be submitted in Med+Proctor at least 10 days prior to your first semester.

If you applied for financial aid, you will receive a financial aid offer letter. Due to delays with the Department of Education, A&M-San Antonio will not be able to process your aid until mid to late May. Once you have enrolled in classes, you will receive a bill via email. Students who have a remaining balance will be required to pay their bills or set up a payment plan before the first payment deadline.

11) Attend Your Transfer Assembly

All transfer students are invited to attend a Jaguar Transfer Assembly. This unique transfer-minded program is designed to ensure our students are prepared and have everything they need to be successful for the upcoming semester.
