Portside Collegiate Clash

We are partnering up with The Boeing Center at Tech Port to host Portside Collegiate Clash! As we wrap up the varsity season, our program hosts a team versus team free for all tournament, where colleges regionally can compete against one another for a grand prize! This event will be hosted during ??? and will be live streamed on Twitch, so keep an eye out for the chance to watch or compete in this tournament!

Exhibition Match

The new competitive season is right around the corner, and with it; The Exhibition Match! To really set the new season into full swing, players from either team can come watch the first games in person at CAB 105, cheering for their team while enjoying snacks and beverages! You will not want to miss this spectacular showcase of skill on September 6th!

Fright Night

Lock your doors, close your blinds, Halloween is coming to TAMUSA Esports! For this event, we will be streaming a full 24 hours - that's right, a full day!- where we will be playing a variety of horror games throughout the night. If there is a game that you would like to see or even get the chance to play on stream, you too can join us during this spooktacular event! If you can't find a spot to slot in during the stream, we will be hosting plenty of party games that you can join in on with our members of the Esports Program! There will also be a costume contest on-stream, and the winner of it will receive a prize!

“Women's Empowerment”

We would like to invite you to join our “Women's Empowerment” Stream! During this event, we will be playing games and featuring noteworthy women-identifying individuals that have been important to the gaming industry, especially those within our very own program and local community! This will be streamed live on Twitch and we hope that you get the chance to come check us out during the event! This event is during Women's Empowerment Month, so keep an eye out on our Upcoming Events!

Tuesday Takedowns

Tuesday Takedowns! This local tournament that we host gives students, as well as locals from the San Antonio area, the chance to compete in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for a prize pool! Entry is $10 - $5 for the venue and another $5 for the pot - and must be paid before competing. This event starts around 7:00 PM on the first Tuesday of every month at CAB 105! We also will be live on Twitch during this time, so if you can't show up in person: watch us live on Twitch!

Tryouts

Once a semester, during the months of March or November, students will have a chance to go to tryouts for TAMUSA Esports! During tryouts, students will get the opportunity to test their skill against current players on the team. Those whose skill proves sufficient will be given the chance to join the team they played against. Do you think you have what it takes?
