Calling all TAMUSA students!

Get ready to showcase your Cascarone Smash skills and win big in the Golden Egg Contest! This is your chance to win a tuition fee waiver for one semester (up to 15 credit hours) at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. 

How to Win: 

Who can participate? Current TAMUSA students enrolled in the Summer or Fall 2025 semester. 

The Challenge: Submit a 30-second video of your most epic Cascarone Smash

Submission Period: Opens on March 5 at 8 a.m. and closes on March 28 at 11:59 p.m.

The Big Vote: Following the submission deadline, A&M-San Antonio will choose one winner and a second winner will be determined by public voting on A&M-San Antonio's social media platforms based on the highest number of likes during the voting window. 

The Prize:

A tuition fee waiver for one semester (up to 15 credit hours) at TAMUSA.

Prize Details: 

• The tuition fee waiver can be used towards the Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 semester only. 
• The waiver will be applied to your student account after all financial aid is awarded. 
• You must meet all admissions requirements and have a valid FAFSA/TAFSA on file. 
• The prize is not transferable.

Golden Egg Contest Winner Announcement: 

The winners will be announced on Sunday, May 4th, at 6 p.m. at the Festival de Cascarones Main Stage.
