Career Readiness

The Division of Student Affairs will connect students to the career aspirations and interests through student employment, professional development, and high impact practices.  

  • Objective 1 - Career Readiness Engagement: Increase knowledge of career competencies for students and supervisors to set goals and track growth of career readiness skills for a professional work environment.
  • Objective 2 - Meaningful Reflection Engagement: Incorporate structured opportunities for students and supervisors to reflect on their learning and connections between work and school.
  • Objective 3 - Professional Development Engagement: Increase accessibility of training and professional development programs for as all students with any employer, focusing on division student employees.
  • Objective 4 - Student Employment Engagement: Student employment as a high impact practice will increase the retention and graduation rates for students that are employed on campus.
