Media Relations
Marketing & Strategic Communications (StratComm) seeks to form and cultivate a professional and mutually beneficial relationship with the news media that advances both the University and media interests. Our office ensures that official information is accurately and effectively communicated to the public through news media representatives in a clear, concise, and consistent manner.
News media refers to any representatives of newspapers, blogs, magazines, newsletters, television, radio, podcasts, or any other platforms that post or disseminate information for consumption by secondary audiences.
FOR MEDIA
StratComm serves as a liaison between A&M-SA experts, administrators, and students, as well as the local and national media.
If you have a media inquiry, are seeking an expert, are looking for additional information from a press release, or need other assistance on behalf of the media, contact us at PR@tamusa.edu.
A&M-SA has experts in various fields. We are available to help find experts willing to comment on their area of expertise. If you wish to be connected with an expert, email PR@tamusa.edu.
Media seeking to film or photograph on campus must first coordinate with StratComm and obtain any required permissions before coming on-site.
Information on requests to Texas A&M-San Antonio under the Texas Public Information Act can be found on the Open Records and Public Information site.
