Digital Accessibility Awareness (#2114261)

This is an introductory course to digital accessibility. It defines common vocabulary when addressing challenges and solutions for accessibility, including the term electronic and information resources used in State laws and regulations. It provides benefits of universally designing digital content as well as purchasing, acquiring, and using digital accessible. Finally, it introduces a few simple techniques that follow universal design to improve digital accessibility in the role of each employee at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

 

Performance Management Best Practices-EOD (#2112082)

HUMAN RESOURCES & ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: The performance management process is intended to create an ongoing dialogue between the supervisor and employee. This course describes the performance management process: Plan, Coach, Evaluate and Reward. After taking this course you will be able to: create a meaningful and relevant performance plan; identify coaching techniques to enhance communication; identify strategies that will prepare you for the yearly performance evaluation; and express appreciation through recognition and rewards.

Working in Workday for Employees (#2114109)

This course is designed to introduce the Workday application to employees within the Texas A&M University System. Topics covered include:

  • Workday Basics
  • Navigating Workday
  • Employee Self-Service
  • Workday Support

This is not a required course but highly recommended for new Employees who will use Workday to manage their human resources, payroll and benefits needs. The course should take between 45 mins to 1hr to complete. This course is developed by Workday Services, a department within the A&M System Office of Information Technology

Working in Workday for Managers (#2114108)

This course is designed to introduce the Workday application to Managers within the Texas A&M University System. Topics covered include:

  • Manager Roles
  • Managing Time Entries
  • Managing Time Off Requests
  • Managing Delegations
  • Manager Specific Worklets
  • Performance
  • Recruiting
  • Workday Help

This is not a required course but highly recommended for new managers who will use Workday to manage those they supervise. It is advisable that you take Working in Workday for Employees prior to completing this course.

Working in Workday for Managers should take between 30 - 45 mins to complete. This course is developed by Workday Services, a department within the A&M System Office of Information Technology.
