College credit for heroes
Recognizing the need to help more student veterans earn their degrees, Texas A&M-San Antonio joins the entire Texas A&M System in adopting "College Credit for Heroes," created by the Texas Workforce Commission. The statewide program aims to maximize the award of college credits to service members and veterans for their military training.
"Aligning our institutions with College Credit for Heroes demonstrates our commitment to keeping our military and veterans on track to achieve academic and career success," said Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp. "Military training can absolutely match many academic courses." Read more about TAMU-SA's next military-embracing initiative here.
