Military Flags photoUniversity makes Top 20 list

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is featured in Victory Media Inc.'s 2014 list of Military Friendly Schools. The annual compilation lists the top 20 percent of schools nationwide that deliver the best experience for military students. Over 12 percent of the student body at A&M-San Antonio are members of the military community, where we are always military embracing.

Linking to talent through social media

On Wednesday, October 2, TAMU-SA's San Antonio Human Resource Management Association student chapter hosted a live webcast event at the Brooks City-Base Campus. The evening included a discussion on social media sourcing and recruiting talent, which featured speakers from Gild, LinkedIn and RedHat. The webcast itself was made possible through a joint collaboration between A&M-San Antonio and NOWCastSA, which had the added benefit of allowing students and the public to watch from any location they chose!

Part of a bigger picture

The Alamo University Center, on northeast San Antonio, is a joint partnership between four universities and the Alamo Colleges that was designed to provide a convenient location for students to complete their degree. The center houses junior, senior and graduate-level courses in select programs from A&M-San Antonio and other area universities.
