RE: Central Academic Building Closure – July 3 - 5, 2015

In appreciation for your hard work and dedication to Texas A&M University-San Antonio, I have authorized an early release totaling four hours (1-5 p.m.) on Friday, July 3, 2015 for Texas A&M University-San Antonio.  I have approved up to four hours of leave requested by benefits-eligible employees in LeaveTraq to be credited back to the employees’ leave balances based on A&M-SA Procedure 31.03.03.O0.01, Leave of Absence with Pay.

Phone/Voicemail instructions:

If phones have voicemail, they will automatically forward to voice mailboxes, however, if you would like to forward your phone line to another on-campus or off-campus phone number (such as a cell phone), please refer to the documents attached.  There is also a document attached for creating a customized voicemail greeting.

If phones do not have voicemail (such as secondary or group lines), during any power outage, these lines will receive a busy signal, thus, it is recommended to forward these lines.

It is highly recommended that you test the following before Thursday, July 2, 2015:

      • Accessing the Web portal
      • Call forwarding your phone lines via your phone and Web portal
      • If you have secondary lines assigned,  call forwarding your secondary (or group lines)
      • Accessing your voicemail (whether by phone or the Webpage portal)
      • Creating and establishing a customized voicemail greeting

Here are some documents that can assist you with this:

Please do not wait until Thursday afternoon to set up your phone, as this will not allot the time necessary to address problems.  For more information please contact Diana Lopez at dlopez@tamusa.tamus.edu.

Have safe Holiday weekend!
