New Temporary Parking Lot Coming

Dear Members of the A&M-San Antonio Community:

Thank you for your commitment and dedication to Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Because of your efforts, our campus continues to grow both in student enrollment and physical structure. Beginning on Monday, February 6, 2017, the campus will begin to see construction crews in the grassy field adjacent to the portable buildings. The crews will be clearing, leveling and surfacing in preparation for creation of a temporary faculty and staff parking lot. Construction is slated to last approximately two weeks, with the temporary lot opening on Tuesday, February 21.

This is a very exciting time for our campus community as we expand our physical footprint. Approval to begin construction on the Science and Technology Building will be determined at the Board of Regents meeting next week. 

In order to keep the University community abreast of campus parking and construction updates, we will put up a new page on the University website next week, which will have a parking FAQ page, renderings of the upcoming building and uploaded campus communications.  More to follow!
