Science & Technology Building Construction and Parking Update

Dear Members of the A&M-San Antonio Community:

On Tuesday, February 21, a temporary parking lot will open where faculty and staff are encouraged to park. Construction of the Science and Technology Building will begin the same day, and fencing will surround the construction site. The new building, slated to open in fall 2018, will consist of additional classrooms, science laboratories and personnel offices. It is an exciting addition to our growing Jaguar family!

To enhance communication and share the excitement of our expansion, flyers on the University TV screens are visible with news on construction and sizable posters will soon adorn high-traffic campus areas. We have also launched a University construction page, which includes a list of frequently asked questions, renderings of the new building, parking maps and uploaded campus messages. This page will include timely communication as construction continues and updates become available.
