Program Overview

The Masters of Arts in Educational Administration degree program is designed to meet principalship certification requirements in the State of Texas. In addition, a superintendency program of 15 semester credit hours is available for practicing K-12 school administrators. It is estimated that the average length of time which is required to complete the Master’s degree is 18 months. Some of the coursework is offered in a combination of face-to-face and online coursework. Some of the coursework is offered in a combination of face-to-face and online coursework. This hybrid combination affords students the greatest amount of freedom and flexibility while also including face-to-face support, resulting in highly skilled graduates. Principal Certification and Superintendent Certification Programs are also offered for professionals requiring certification only. Quality - Courses are designed to blend theory and practice in order to provide a unique opportunity for participants to gain a systemic perspective on leadership along with practical local procedures and policies.
