The Alpha Delta Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi is a student organization on the A&M-SA campus that is affiliated with the International Education Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi. Membership in the organization is open to undergraduate and graduate students in education, counseling, and educational administration. Our members participate in service projects that benefit Literacy Alive! in local schools, libraries, and children’s’ homes. KDP projects and events are supported by fundraising efforts, such as the biannual Scholastic Book Fairs. Additionally, our chapter has contributed hundreds of books to the children's section of the A&M-SA library. To learn more about our A&M-SA chapter, go to facebook.com or Instagram @kdp_tamusa.

The advisors, officers, and members of the Alpha Delta Omega Chapter adhere closely to the guidelines put forth by the Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) headquarters. We are proud to belong to one of the largest educational honor societies in the world, which has more than 1.2 million members and over 700 chapters. The original KDP chapter was founded in 1911 at the University of Illinois to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among teachers. The KDP motto is Teaching for a Better Future.
