Office of Military Affairs
The office of Military Affairs (OMA) at Texas A&M University-San Antonio assists student veterans, active-duty service members, guardsman, reservist, and their families with the utilization of U.S Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) federal education benefits, state of Texas VA education benefit (Hazlewood Act), and Military Tuition Assistance Programs. We strive to provide quality services to military-affiliated students to assist in their academic success. The Universitys Military Embracing culture focuses on providing community programming.
University Library
The University Library at Texas A&M University-San Antonio fosters collaboration among faculty, staff, and students to create an atmosphere of academic excellence and provides the university community with tools for lifelong learning. The library is actively engaged in the teaching, research, and outreach activities of A&M-SA. Library staff promote an inclusive culture through our services, resources, and support.
Mays Center for Experiential Learning
The Mays Center for Experiential Learning and Community Engagement (Mays Center) provides enhanced learning opportunities and access to resources and relationships in order to develop students into career-ready and community-minded graduates. Programs and services provided by the Mays Center include: Career Services, Community Service, Externships, Internships, Financial Literacy and Student Employee Professional Development
Title IX
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in educational programs and activities at schools that receive federal financial assistance. Title IX ensures program equity and forbids sexual harassment, sexual violence, sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, stalking, and discrimination based on sex or pregnancy and parental status.
Student Counseling Services
The Student Counseling Center (SCC) is a welcoming, inclusive, and confidential space. Our licensed and professionally-trained staff offer free and confidential mental health services to currently enrolled Texas A&M University-San Antonio students in various formats: one-on-one sessions, group therapy, and walk-in services for urgent situations. Because student fees cover these services, any visit has no out-of-pocket expenses.
Disability Support Services (DSS)
Disability Support Services (DSS) at Texas A&M University-San Antonio is committed to ensuring equal access, full participation, and reasonable accommodations by coordinating services that meet the unique educational needs of enrolled students with documented disabilities.
