Who We Are - La Familia
Texas A&M University-San Antonio's Parent Outreach and Engagement Department coordinates outreach initiatives including La Familia Parent Workshops, Info Sessions and more, which is an innovative component of the University's overall goal to support our ASPIRE network and South Bexar County. Parent Outreach and Engagement aims to engage families through college-going activities, parent workshops and family events. We are committed to breaking down barriers, creating access to quality education and involving the entire family in the student’s journey towards higher education.

La Familia Workshop Series
A 6-week comprehensive program for parents to learn about the college process. Learn more here.
Parent Nights
At Elementary and Middle School campuses, we engage with parents and their students through College Readiness games. The games are geared to create conversations about college readiness and how to think about the college process.
Webinar Series
Our mission is to keep parents informed and supported throughout the college process. We're excited to offer a series of online information sessions, providing convenient access to valuable insights and expert guidance from anywhere in San Antonio!
