Career Exploration  – Students can schedule a Major/Career Exploration appointment with a Career Advisor to learn more about major/career options. You can discuss the results of career assessments and prepare an action plan to learn more about what you can do through the major/career exploration process. Interview and resume support is also available.

Focus2 – A self-paced online career and education planning tool that helps users make informed decisions about their future. Call the Mays’ Center at 210-784-1356 to obtain the access code.

Ready to Work - Ready to Work provides tuition assistance for the members of the San Antonio community, giving opportunities to work in high-demand and well-paid careers. Other services offered include case management, job/life skill coaching, job placement/ retention services.

Clifton Strengths – The Clifton Strengths Assessment is an online tool that helps people identify their natural talents and how to use them to achieve success.  With the results from the assessment, you can learn ways to leverage your strengths for success.  Individual Strengths Coaching sessions are available to faculty and staff to enhance personal, social, and professional growth.

Professional Development - Texas A&M-San Antonio is pleased to provide faculty and staff with professional development opportunities that better equip them to meet the institution's needs. Leadership Academy - The Leadership Academy is a 3-year program designed to explore leadership topics and enhance the existing skills of our current leaders. By providing resources to attain knowledge and abilities on becoming an effective and influential leader, the program will be creating a solid foundation for higher education leaders.

University Ombudsperson - The University Ombudsperson is a designated neutral faculty member selected by the Faculty Senate who works with faculty, staff, and paid graduate assistants to assist them in clarifying work-related issues and identifying options to help them resolve conflicts, problematic issues or concerns related to their employment at A&M-SA.
