Who runs the best virtual media internships? We do. In a time when others are letting interns go, Univision and A&M-San Antonio are designing innovative projects together that keep students learning, while also keeping our communities safe.  
 
Seven A&M-San Antonio students were selected to participate in an innovative virtual radio and television internship program starting January, 2021. The joint partnership between A&M-San Antonio’s Communication Program and Univision 41 is part of the Univision Media Lab's efforts to assist students continue their experiential education while classes are offered online as a response to the pandemic.

Univision will pair each student with a reporter or producer for weekly mentoring. In addition to attending virtual meetings, guest speakers, and training events, students will receive career mentorship and the opportunity to work on journalism projects they design in collaboration with Univision.  
 
Students are enrolled in Prof. Jenny Moore’s communication internship course where they will also maintain a website and digital portfolio to document their internship experience. The site, under development, will be designed by Adam Willingham, a certified StoryBrand guide and owner of Willingham Solutions. Willingham will also provide students strategies for how to write compelling copy and market their experiences as they prepare for graduation. Stay tuned as we launch one of the most exciting and innovative internship programs Univision has to offer!
