SECC Giving - Dr. Ed Westermann's Story

October 17, 2017
Dear Members of the A&M-San Antonio Community:

One of the major reasons I enjoy teaching at A&M-San Antonio involves the sense of community I find here among our faculty, staff and students. This sense of community includes not only being part of the University, but also being prepared to help one another in times of need.  Like A&M-San Antonio, I believe that the Texas A&M University System, as a whole, is part of a larger community and dedicated to helping those in our state. The recent hurricane that ravaged Houston and parts of the Gulf Coast offer us an opportunity to help fellow Texans who lost their homes and their possessions. The SECC offers a great venue for helping those in need and restating our commitment to community in concrete terms--that is why I chose to participate.

- Dr. Ed Westermann, Professor of History

120 People Needed to Reach 40% Participation Goal

As a community of giving people, we ask that you give today if you haven't already. To reach our 40% participation goal, we need an additional 120 people to give. If you have already donated - thank you! Will you kindly take a moment to visit two of your friends at the University and encourage them to give to the charity or cause that is important to them?
