Media Alert: Texas A&M University-San Antonio to Celebrate Spring 2019 Commencement

WHAT:

Texas A&M University-San Antonio (A&M-SA) will celebrate 945 graduates as they walk the stage at our Spring 2019 commencement ceremony. The event includes:

  • Celebrating the future of the institution with a 10-year anniversary commemorative poem written by Texas Poet Laureate and A&M-SA Writer-In-Residence, Laurie Ann Guerrero
  • Inaugurual Meritorious Service Award Medal to Texas stalwart Greg Garcia
  • Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters conferred to Harold Oliver
