Do I have to live on campus?
First-year students with a permanent address more than 40 miles from the campus must live on campus. Due to the current housing shortage, these students are given priority in securing a lease contract in Student Housing.
Can I be exempt from living on campus?
Students whose permanent address is less than 40 miles from the campus are exempt from the housing requirement. Other reasons to request an exemption are listed on the exemption request form.
An exemption request must be submitted and approved instead of a housing application. Exemptions may take up to three weeks to process.
